Lacey Lambert - WISD High School Girls Athletic Coordinator,
Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach.
Welcome Coach Lambert!
Lacy is starting her 15th year of teaching and coaching and her 9th year at Wimberley High School. She is a graduate of Wimberley and has a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Studies. She was on the 1999 State Champion Volleyball Team, the first one ever won in Wimberley’s history.
In College she was a 4 year Letterman of the Volleyball and Track teams at Tarleton State University. She continued her education at Sam Houston State University with a Master's in Kinesiology and served as a graduate assistant for the Volleyball program.
In addition she teaches Child Development and Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness at Wimberley High School.
Her Husband, Wesley Lambert, is also a coach and teacher at Wimberley High School.
They have four children, daughter Ryan (9), twin son and daughter Crockett & Jordan (5) , and baby girl Hunter (3).
We are so excited to have Coach Lacey Lambert as a part of our WAC family working with the 10 year old team.

Meet Coach JJ!!!
We are so excited for our 11's 1 Team!
Jacqueline is a 2018 graduate from Wimberley ISD.
She was a member of the Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, & Track teams at WISD. She was also on leadership for Fellowship of Christian Athletes & HOSA.
Jacqueline attended Texas A&M University and is a December 2021 graduate.
She is currently the JV volleyball Coach & teaches freshman World Geography at Wimberley High School.

Stephanie Barthels - Varsity Volleyball Head Coach WISD
Stephanie Barthels started her coaching career while going to college. She was at Wharton Co Jr College and was on scholarship to be the assistant volleyball coach. She then transferred to Texas Lutheran and while going to school and was the head volleyball and basketball coach at Lifegate Christian School for a year. She graduated in 2003 from TLU. In 2004, she started her public school teaching/coaching at Marion ISD. She was a middle school coach her first year and then she became the Head volleyball coach, JV basketball, and assistant track coach for 3 years. After her stint in Marion she came to Canyon Lake HS and was the freshmen volleyball and basketball coach for 3 years.
Stephanie started WISD in the 2010-2011 school year. She's now been at Wimberley for 9 years. She has coached freshman volleyball and JV volleyball, along with MS and freshman basketball, and also MS track. In
She and her husband John have 1 four legged girl, Remington, who is the best big 'sister' to their 2 legged baby girl, Judith. In her years teaching she has taught science, health, and Special Education.
Special Interests;
Stephanie loves to travel out West to Montana and leads a trip annually from the school that visits National Parks. She also includes hanging with her family, going to church, watching college and high school sports.

Danforth Jr. High Teacher/Coach
Coach Daily is currently teaching and coaching the 7th Grade A Team at Danforth Junior high.
She has 6 years coaching experience, at the middle school and high school level.
She is a University of Texas graduate.
I plan to equip these athletes with the skills necessary to succeed on and off the court, and hope to teach them how to be great competitors and teammates. Our goal as a team will be to improve every single day in every aspect of the game.

I am super excited to be joining WAC this year! I have been playing volleyball since I was about 9 years old and have been coaching for 5 years now. I love coaching at the middle school level to help advance fundamentals and take team play to the next level.
I teach 7th grade Science and coach Volleyball, Tennis, and Cheer at Wallace Middle School in Hays CISD.
I am from the small town of Glen Rose, TX. I graduated with my bachelors and masters of biology from Tarleton State University.
In my free time I love playing tennis, hanging out with my dogs, trying new restaurants, and being on the lake or river.

Mattie has worked for WAC for 10 years with volleyball camps and clinics, 4 years as an assistant coach, 5 years Head Coach. Mattie started playing Club volleyball at age 10. Mattie has been in the WAC Family since second grade as a Little Digger followed by five competitive years of WAC’s Club Volleyball program and two years at an outside club. At Wimberley High School, Mattie was a 3 year varsity letter winner in Volleyball as a Defensive Specialist/Libero. Mattie’s Senior year, she lead her team through the Area Championship and ended as a Regional QTR Finalist. Mattie was awarded First Team - All District as well as Academic All-District. Mattie is a three time Academic All-District honoree, an All-District Defensive MVP, three-time Team Defensive MVP. Mattie was Coached by our own Stephanie Barthels! Her Junior year her team finished as a Regional QTR-finalist while she earned second-team honors. Her Sophomore year she helped lead her team to finish as Semi Regional Finalists playing in the State Semi Finals, earning Semi Regional Champs. Her Freshman year she was moved up in playoff's and played earning Area Champs and ending as a Regional QTR-Finalist.In Addition, Mattie is a three-year Letter winner in Track where she advanced all three years to Regionals in three different events. Mattie is also a three-year letter winner in Softball and was named First-Team All District and All-State Academics. Mattie was voted by her peers her Freshman and Senior year's for the Homecoming Court. Mattie continued her volleyball career with the Texas State Volleyball team and lettered her Freshman, Sophomore & Junior year and competed as a Defensive Specialist. Mattie ended her volleyball career with her team earning the regular season Sunbelt Conference Champs & Sunbelt Conference Champs 2018. Mattie was active with the Bobcats and did several volunteer activities as well as supported many of the other Bobcat teams. Mattie served 2 years with SAAC, Student Athletic Advisory Committee and 1 year as vice president for SAAC.
Mattie is a 2020 graduate of Texas State University with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Coaching Athletics.
